Zig-Zag (hard)
This maze first appeared as the monthly maze competition for September 2014.
This is a particularly difficult variant of the Jumping Mazes. As usual, the number in each cell shows how far you can jump from that cell. However, in this maze your first jump must be horizontal or vertical, your next jump must be diagonal, and so on, alternating between a horizontal/vertical jump and a diagonal jump at each step.
In addition, in this maze some cells contain an asterisk; these act as wildcards, behaving like the last number you landed on.
Find the shortest route from the 2 in the top left corner to the bottom right corner.
